Famynor tablet contains Ethinyl Estradiol (estrogen hormones) and Norgestrel (progestins hormones), uses as oral contraceptive. it works by inhibiting the ovulation. many side effects can happen by using famynor. the most common ( 10%) are edema, weakness, amenorrhea (no menstruation), bleeding, spotting, anorexia, migraine, weight gain. the minor such as: depression, dizziness, nervousness, somnolence, abdominal pain, nausea vomiting, breast tenderness etc. may I know does your wife your another medicine while using Famynor? she should contact to the doctor because some drugs may have interactions with famynor. if she s smoking, advise her not to smoke while use hormonal contraceptive because it can increase the risk of cardiovascular adverse effects. famynor should be used with caution in someone who have diabetes, hypertension, history of breast cancer, renal/liver disease, and metabolic disorder. if your wife still have psychological symptoms after using famynor, better you contact your treating doctor. because if severe depression persists or develops, it s better to discontinue the using of famynor. please be aware of her.
