Do Fluticasone Nasal Spray And Nasacort Spray Have The Same Composition?

is fluticasone propionate nasal spray and Children s Nasalcort basically the same thing? My son has allergies and seasonal asthma and the allergist said to use flovent and not the fluticasone as it has more steroids. Went to pediatrician and he advised starting a nasal spray such as Nasacort. Is this in direct contrast to what the allergist recommended?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, both these nasal sprays are same.
Fluticasone is inhaled corticosteroid.
It is the treatment of choice for allergic rhinitis in children.
Nasacort is also having fluticasone.
So both the nasal sprays, Nasacort and fluticasone, are similar.
You can give either of them to your son.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
