Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I work in the outdoors and often go many hours wearing wet shoes, day after day. I developed some redness that was itchy. It has spread over the last 3 months or so. The skin started to peel off and was raw, bleeding a bit. I put cream on and the blood became scabish, however the redness is continuing to move up my foot. Do I have stage 1 gangrene caused from trench foot? If so I will be getting into see a doctor, otherwise I think eventually it could clear up if I made sure to keep my feet dry.
