Do I Need A Check For Rheumatoid Arthritis, osteoporosis For Aching Bones?
I am experiencing aching bones. I was sent for a blood test for hypothyroidism and mosquito borne diseases and the result was I have been diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism which I am being treated for under Dr Sandra Cabot. I am doing a liver detox, but my bones are still aching. Should I be worried it might be something more sinister? I also have osteoarthritis in my feet and neck. Do I need a check for rheumatoid arthritis? I probably should have a test for osteoporosis. What other tests should I have?
I am Dr. Alok and very pleased to be assisting you with your health questions today.
I am so sorry to hear that you that you are suffering from aching bones. Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease of joints, not of bones. and osteoporosis is a painless disease. so there is no point for investigating these disesaes.
I would like you to go for Vitamin D level, if required and I would like to.. which bones are aching?, are they all times or in any perticular times? is there any stiffness over body?
I wish you good health. Dr. Alok
