General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The kid is having non infectious diarrhea , usually of viral origin from stomach bug most likely rota virus or else. My guidelines at this point
- maintain hydration with plenty of liquids and oral rehydration salt
- avoid spices or junk foods
- take utmost care of hand hygiene
- give ibugesic for 1 day and later only if fever above 100 F
- add probiotics as fresh curd in diet for better replenishment of GI
flora
- be in regular follow up with his doc for further guidance please

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
