Do Lamictal And Vyvanse Cause Memory Loss?

My son has been taking lamictal for his epilepsy for about a year now. He also takes 70mg of Vyvanse for ADHD. He is 14 years old. His teachers have been noticing a decline in cognitive memory and efficacy. Could it be either or the combination of these drugs?

hi mam/sir,vyvanse must be used cautiously in childring with seizure disorder.monitoring for aggressive behaviour or hostility,memory impairment are necessary.lamictal has got memory impairment as its adverse effect but in minority of users.there are no known interactions between lamictal and vyvanse.youneed to report any worsening of symptoms,aggressive behaviour and cognitive impairment when on vyvanse.so kindly do notify your paediatrician about the symptoms such that he will decide any change in dosage or alternate drug or any counselling sessions needed.hope my answer clears your doubts.any further queries are always welcome.i’m always eager to attend your queries.thank you.take care.bye.
