My wife is 28 years old. This month she missed her periods..since last couple of months her periods are not consistent..we went to meet a gynaecologist.. She suggested lupigest 200 to her 3 capsules eah day..she suggested that her periods will get started due to this..today is 3rd day of that dosage..she is still not with her periods..please guide me..
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern. Lupigest-200 is a hormone called progesterone. Progesterone is a important hormone in regulating menstrual cycle and fertility. Lupigest 200 is used in the following conditions: 1. To support and maintain the growing pregnancy: It makes the lining of uterus thicker, helping with good implantation and keeping the lining thick enough to support the growing embryo. 2. Irregular menses as it maintains the hormone levels at optimum and will bring out regular menstruation. 3. Dysmenorrhea: It decreases painful cramps which appear before menstruation. 4. To prevent miscarriages associated with progesterone hormone deficiency. She needs to complete the dosage as prescribed. She should get her periods by a week after she completes the last day dose. Hope the information provided is useful. All the best.
