Do Oxycontin And Fentanyl Patches Interfere With Each Other?
MY NEPHEW HAS BEEN MISSING AND ABUSING PAIN MEDICATION. THE ONLY THING HE GRABBED BEFORE HE WENT MISSING WAS HIS OXYCONTIN AND FENTANYL PATCHES. WE ARE CONCERNED HE MAY BE HURTING HIMSELF. I GUESS I WAS CURIOUS OF THE OUTCOME IF HE TOOK THEM TOGETHER.

I don't see any interactions between the two class of drugs. Fentanyl is opioid analgesic while oxytocin is a relaxing calming agent. In any case, either of the drugs or any drug shud not be abused, it's dangerous.
