Do Panadeine Forte And Endone Tablets Damage The Teeth?
Hi my name is Shane have 3 bulged & 2 torn discs in my lower back.. my doc has me on 6 Panadeine forte a day and approx 4 endone a day.. am worried that this dose can rot my teeth over time. Teeth are good at the moment.... can this happen to my teeth or other long term use probs?? Thanks Shane
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of disc bulges in lower back and you taking Panadeine Forte and Endone tablets which are painkillers and right course of medication which does not seems to cause any dental problems to you and will not damage your teeth. Try to reduce the dose as per physician advise once your symptoms keeps on regressing.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit oral and maxillofacial surgeon once if you came across any problems and get it examined completely and start treatment accordingly. Maintain complete hygiene and avoid sharp stick food. Drink plenty of water after every meal and brush and floss regularly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
