Do Prednisolone And Furosemide Cause Feeling Of Frequent Urination?
I am a 55 year old female and contstantly feel like I need to pass urine but is almost impossible to pass. I drink 2 to 3 litres of water a day and have been taking predniselone for approx 5 weeks. Which usually make me pass more urine. I am also taking 160mg of Fruisimde per day. Help please?

1. since prednisolone cause retention of salt and fluid [ impossible to pass urine] while on the other hand furosemide is a diuretic [water pill] which causes excess urination by flushing excess water and salt out of the body, which means if you are taking diuretic you are making more urine [passing more urine] thus in best interest it is better to have an appointment with an Urologist for Kidney Function Tests and necessary examination since it may be caused by other things.
