Good day doctor. On 22 August 2016 i drank 5 searle pills and 1 laxative all at the same time knowing that i was 5 weeks pregnant.i went to see the doctor and scan shows that im still pregnant but im bleeding since 22 august few hour after drinking the pills.i would like to know if i continue having a ongoing pregnacy will i have a normal baby and did i do any permant damaged to my womb cause my stomach has been feeling very tender or should it be best to have a proper abortion done.
From your description, I am of the opinion that You should not have taken 5 Searle pills at once. Now you have already done that, the proper thing would be to have a transvaginal USG done to confirm/deny gestational sac.
As you have been bleeding so much, you should monitor your Hb levels too. I would suggest you consult a local gynae as soon as possible, that's the best thing you should of.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
