Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 58 year old male that has been taking simvastian and lisinopril (40 mg and 12.5 mg ) for several years now and recently was sent to a rheumatologist because of joint pain , blood test came back fine could these drugs be causing these symptoms now ??
Hello Welcome to Ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Joint pain may not be due to the drugs (Simvastatin and Lisinopril) you are taking but this could be due to arthritis changes, or could be due to viral infection but drugs may not be the cause that is being taken by you. Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
