Do Wellbutrin And Flexeril When Taken Together Cause Any Interactions?
I take Wellbutrin, 100mg three times per day. I just took what I thought was a low dose aspirin and it was actually a flexaril 10mg taken in error. I read online that this can have a serious drug interaction. I m concerned. Do I need to go to the ER, or is likely that I ll be OK and nothing bad will happen?
I understand your concern. There have been some reports on an interaction between the Wellbutrin and Flexeril, which are drugs that are sometimes taken together. The interaction between these two drugs is not something that happens in all people who take them in combination and when there is an interaction it occurs after a couple of weeks of being on this therapy. So, it is very unlikely that you will get any reaction by a one off dose and I do not think it will be necessary to go to the ER. The most common effects of this drug interaction would be anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, decreased appetite and acne, which are not conditions that require emergency treatment.
I hope this answers your questions. Wishing you good health and all the best.
