Do Anti Malarial Drugs Cause Delayed Periods?

I just came back from Africa. While I was there in April, I had used anti malaria drugs to prevent malaria. I had my menstrual period in mid April but none in the month of May. Could this be as a result of the medication I had. I am not pregnant and I have family planning in place.
