General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
PCOD with pregnancy can have avoidable possibilities like early miscarriage and possibility of gestational diabetes. Self care consists of avoiding excess statin (physical as well as psychological) / eating carbohydrate free diet. Stick to the drug regime and advise by your gynecologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
