Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Amlodipine besylate does not cause insomnia.

You get your blood pressure checked by physician without taking night pill and if it is OK then don't take night pill.

if it is not normal then tell your doctor to change it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
