Do Breathing Difficulty And Swollen Legs And Feet Indicate High Blood Pressure?

I recently was being treated with arimidex, aromasin, and femara, (estrogen blockers) for a new diagnoses of metastasis to my rib as a breast cancer survivor . I had to be taken off each of those medications due to bad side effects. The Femara was stopped last week ,due to side effects of shortness of breath and swelling in my legs and feet. I am now 10 days post medicine and I still have those symptoms , I have been check for micro blood clots in my lung by CT that was normal my ekg was normal I had an Eco of heart that was normal. Clotting factors were normal Doppler of leg veins were normal but I am so tired, and short of breath with any extra exertion, and my legs and ankles are still huge and end of day. My blood pressure has been unusually high 188/110 but was 160/90 today, // can just high blood pressure cause those symptoms ?

Hello,

Yes, given the fact that lung problems and others are excluded than the high blood pressure are a strong factor of causing swollen legs and breathlessness. You should take diuretics drugs to excrete the excessive amount of liquids in the body. Please first discuss with your doctor for this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
