Do Delayed Periods Followed By Spotting Suggest Pregnancy?
Hi. I have a question. I am already a mother of 2. But this month my period was 6 days late. I got it mid afternoon on the 6th day bled til Friday night and it was gone. Didn t have it all day on Saturday. My husband and I had sex today. I just went to the bathroom and I am bleeding. I m unsure what is going on. We have been trying to get pregnant. But I figured I got my period I wasnt. Am I pregnant? ? My test said negative.
Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
the spotting might be due to injury during the sexual intercourse. suspect pregnancy if you are missing your periods for more than one or two weeks provided you have a regular period.
if you are trying to get pregnant see to it you have unprotected intercourse between 10th to 18th day of your cycle and you husband had abstain from sex for minimum one week. this will increase the probability of getting pregnant.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards! Dr. Arunmozhi varman
