Do Double Dose Flu Vaccines Result In Nausea And Lack Of Energy?
I am 76 ears of age and am having, perhaps,side effects from my double dose flu shot that was given in early Nov. 2916. Symptoms are light headiness some light nausea, and lack of energy..I live in San Diego..I just spoke to my sister 82 years old who lives in Idaho and is having the same side effects. She also had the double dose in Oct. or Nov. 2016. Any thoughts on this??

The flu vaccine is made of viral proteins which act as antigenes that stimulate the body to produce antibodies in responsebto generate protection in case it gets in contact with the real virus. Even a single dose vaccine sometimes me give mild flu symptoms. Having a double dose of the vaccine may have stimulated the immune system more and you feel flu like symptoms.
