Do Electronic Cigarettes Contain Nicotine?

I recently discovered my fiancé has been smoking e-cigarettes and when I asked him about it he says he does it on ocassion to relieve stress. When he is in my presence my eyes itch, but he says it has no nicotine. Do e-cigarettes contain nicotine? And what health risk can I potentially be faced with? Am I at risk for second or third hand smoke by his e-cigarette usage?

Most e cigarette contain nicotine.However there are certain brands like green smoke,white cloud,vaporfi etc that sell non nicotine e cigarette.
smoking non nicotine e cigarette do not have much adverse effect on health.However the eye irritation you are experiencing may be due to other chemicals in the vapor of e cigarette.
If it contain nicotine, there is chance of adverse health effect like hypertension and addiction to nicotine.
E cigarette do not change the composition in air around you like regular cigarette and thus do not pose the risk for second hand smoking.
