Do Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Cause Kidney And Liver Damage?
Hi since last 5 years my Blood Pressure Reading have been on the higher side. Recently when i did a BP check up, the readings were 190/98. I am an active person. I don t feel tired much and I am regularly active in sports. The food intake is also not always junk though there is bit of junk food that goes in. How do you think this BP level is maintained and will by Kidney and Liver at Risk ?
Persistent and untreated high blood pressure (bp) can cause damage to heart, kidneys and liver. So, immediate treatment should be started. Discuss further with cardiologist, run a complete cardiac check up (EKG, echocardiogram), complete blood count, biochemistry exams.
Hope this helped.
