Do Endocrine Problems Cause Uterine Polyps And Cysts?
Hello i have been diagnosed with 2.ovarian cysts a uterine polyp and left breast cyst i also have had a 3.6cm adrenal adenoma for the last 3 years had a.previous pituitary tumor temoved in 1997 and graves disease that same year received thyroid ablation for graves and now.am hypothyroid have high blood pressure and episodes of extereme anxiety my question is are these polyps and cysts related to my endocrine system as well i have some concern that mens syndrome may be a cause for all these issues have also had several kidney stones and calcium deposits in shoulder for years but my primary doesnt seem.to think its a result of any syndrome but i feel like this is alot of things to not be connected.
As per my clinical experience, the uterine polyps and cysts are due to secondary endocrine changes in terms of altered estrogen, progesterone via underlying disorders of thyroid and else affecting hypothalamo pituitary axis. There may be issue with multiple endocrine neoplasia of some sort and this requires a detailed evaluation with expert endocrinologist for best work up and guidelines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
