Do Excessive Drops Of Nasivion Cause Any Health Issue In An Infant?

Hi..my baby s four n half month old..since past one week he s suffering from cold..doc had prescribed nasivion mini..but today while using tge drops, accidentally i dropped excess drops into his nose..what shud i do?? He s active... Also, while searching i found that nasivion should be uses used only fr 3 days..but then we have been using the same since one week...please reply..thanks in advance

Hello,

Excessive use of nasivion or other decongestant drop is not recommended in infants.

It can be conditions like turbinate hypertrophy and rebound block.
You can use saline nasal drops which is extremely safe for kids.
