Do Fever And Vomiting Indicate Hyperparathyroidism?

Can random fevers and throwing up be a symptom of hyperparathyroidism? I have had tests run for this, but don t have results yet. When I look at symptoms of hyperparathyroidism, I don t see these listed. I also have stinky urine. Janette jackjones54@gmail. com

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Janette:
I think , you have some doubt about "HYPERPARATHYROIDISM ".
Let me explain about hyperparathyroidism, most patients with mild to moderate hyperparathyroidism are " ASYMPTOMATIC " even whenn the disease involves the kidneys and the skeletal system.
Patients have HYPERCALCIURIA and polyuria, and calcium can be deposited in renal parenchyma or form calcium oxalates stones.
So in Hyperparathyroidism skeletal lesion is osteopenia or osteoporosis .
In your case , you are having fever and throwing up and skinty urine , so in my opinion , wait for your test results and consult a physician and get his opinion .
Deal according to your symptoms .
Good luck.
