Do Generic Thyroid Antibiotics Help In Reducing High TSH Levels?
My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with Papillarary Thyroid Carcinova Cancer. She had a thyroidectomy in January 2016 and went through the abrasion for radiation in April. She is currently taking the generic thyroid medicine 200mcg as they had to up it due to her bloodwork. Her Tsh levels should be between 0.7 to 3.7, however hers are at 30.34 and they were at 76.03 before the abrasion. Is this type of medication going to help lower her TSH levels? She continues to gain weight and I fear for her health if her TSH levels don t come down to a normal range.

I really appreciate your concern, certain medicines are there as long as the hypothyroid is concern and that medicines being given globally but here if it is the malignancy then medicine would be different according to pathology of malignant cell better to discuss this with oncologist hope this information helps.
