Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Do Growing Blisters On Penis With Red Spots On Hands And Feet Suggest Herpes?
I am 25 years old male 7 montha ago a small painless blister appeared on the head of my penis and it is growing bigger ever since plus there are two more similar blisters on my penis 4 on the head and one small on the base , this month i have small small red spots on the hands and feets , is this herpes or syphilis .
Let me tell you that the symptoms described by you suggest that you have genital herpes. You can better send me a photo of the blister on reports in order to better evaluate it. I suggest taking an antiviral medication like acyclovir. Bathing or showering in warm water. Keep the infected site clean and dry. Wear loose cotton underwear to keep the area comfortable.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar, General & Family Physician
