Do Headache And Eye Redness While Suffering From Cough Indicate Sinusitis ?

I have been suffering from a virus for the last few weeks. I have been on an antibiotic , cough pearls and a steroid. I am still sick with cough but recently have been getting headaches behind my eyes and eye redness. Not sure what to do? I was just at the doctors on Wednesday. Can this be sinusitis? Any recommendations?

Hi.

Pain around the eyes and redness can be due to sinus infection or sinus headache..

You can once get a sinus CT SCAN done for confirmation..

For now continue with the medication and along with it take decongestant nasal. Spray like Otrivin.

Do steam inhalation.

Take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your query.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
