Do Headaches, nausea And Tender Breasts Indicate Pregnancy?

Am I pregnant? I ve been having headaches, fatigue, nausea (some morning sickness), headaches, back pain, some cramps, peeing every 5 seconds and my boobs are very tender to touch and feel heavy. I have also had mood swings. One minute I want to ball my eyes out just by watching a video, then next I just want to scream. My husband and I had sex before and during my ovulation week. I had spotting yesterday. Very light pink and brown. Today it s red and heavy with some brown and pink. But not heavy enough to fill up a tampon. My period is supposed to be in a few days. I bought 3 pregnancy tests. Might take one in the AM.

Hi,

Though your symptoms are not sure shot for diagnosing pregnancy, it is certain that what you are experiencing are hormonal changes affecting your body. In order to make sure you have pregnancy you have to get a UPT test done.

1) If you have menses in your regular dates then you can be sure you do not have pregnancy. Even if you miss your dates, take a UPT and then only you can be sure of pregnancy.

2) If you miss your dates, do an UPT and if its negative, then wait for 2 to 3 days and visit a gynecologist for thorough examination. The reasons for your symptoms could be certainly evaluated then.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suhas Chauhan
