Do Hemorrhoids Always Itch Or Include Pain?

Do hemorrhoids always itch or include pain. My last few bowel movements there was a lot of blood in the water and on the toilet paper. I don't have any itching or any type of pain in my stomach or rectal area. Could this be hemorrhoids? I have never had an issue with them in the past.

Hemorrhoids are dilated veins in the wall of anal canal. They usually are painless(the internal type) but in case of external haemorrhoids there will be pain.In your case it might be haemorrhoids but you didnt mention your age which is important because beyond the age of 40 there is chance of colon cancer presenting as bleeding per rectum which is also painless. So its better if you get a consultation with a surgeon/gastroenterologist.
