Do High Blood Sugar And Low Sodium Levels Reduce Ones Life Span?

My mom was recently admitted to the ICU as well as being diagnosed six months before. This time at the emergency room she had a high blood glucose and low sodium levels. Is it true that those two things mark increased mortality and reduced longevity? I m trying to get a grasp of what we can expect moving forward in regards to hospitalization and life expectancy.

hi.
elevated BP alone and low sodium doesn't determine the expectency if life. v need to know the cause for these two and the grade of hypertension and to wat level sodium is decreased. if only these two things are present on a temporary attack, this is not a major problem to be treated with antihypertensives along with sodamint r saline provided her body responds to treatment. v need to evaluate thoroughly in search of causes for these two. thank u
