i have been diagnosed with high prolactin levels as yet i have not received any medications or treatments for this condition, recently my body has started to display symptoms of pregnancy, even with this condition can i become pregnant or does high prolactin levels prevent conception

High prolactin levels (hyperprolactinemia) may cause infertility. Prolactin inhibits secretion of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) which is essential for reproduction. FSH is responsible for the growth of ovarian follicles and helps maintain the menstrual cycles.
But still a woman with high prolactin levels can become pregnant. Signs of high prolactin level and pregnancy may be similar (missed periods, breast discharge). You should have urine pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy. If you are pregnant, please contact your health care provider for the management of hyperprolactinemia during the pregnancy.
