Do I Need To Go To Doctor For Eyes Bloodshot And Bad Cold?

I am in day 5 of a very bad cold. Now my eyes are bloodshot and crusty. Do I need to go to doctor? My throat is covered in mucus.I cannot take over the counter meds as I get hives.I amdrinking lots of liquids and at night take honey to supres cough.

Hello. Thank you for your question. I and sorry you are not feeling well. The symptoms you describe are consistent with a bad cold. Even the bloodshot eyes are often seen in combination with the other symptoms. You are doing everything you can do. Hydration, rest, plenty of fluids. However if the symptoms persist beyond 7 to 10 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor.
