Hi & Welcome.
These medications do not decrease the
sperm count.
1. Lexapro (Escitalopram) is a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor which is commonly used to treat depression and
generalized anxiety disorder.
Its common side effects include sleep disturbances, trouble sleeping, increased sweating, tiredness, sexual problems (like decreased sex drive or difficulty having an orgasm), dizziness,
constipation, and headache.
It is unlikely to decrease the sperm production or counts.
2.
Clonazepam is a
benzodiazepine which is commonly prescribed to treat panic disorder and seizures.
Its most common side effects include drowsiness, problems with walking and coordination, dizziness, and problems with memory. It may also cause decreased sex drive. However, it is not known to decrease the sperm production or its count.
There is nothing to worry as these medications do not affect the quality or quantity of sperms and hence there is no possibility of any birth defects to the baby if your wife conceives.
Hope these answer your query.
Best wishes.
