I have a friend, age 91, who fainted a few weeks ago and fell and hit his head on a hard edge. He had a cut over one eye, and a cut on his nose, and went to a re-hab facility. He asked me today, why did I faint? and I thought perhaps it might be low blood sugar, or just lack of enough food?
As per your history is concerned fainting can be due to a number of causes so first do an ECG to ruled out any cardiac disorder.Check his vital signs BP,RR rate,PULSE,TEMP and record every 6 hours and record it.A nd also check his blood sugar if low adjust dose. Thanks
