Do Low Hemoglobin Levels Cause A Kidney Stone?

About 15 months ago, at age 63, I had my first and only kidney stone. I just had another X-ray today and there was no evidence of any kidney stones. So I am wondering if that one kidney stone likely was just an anomaly, or if I am apt to have more in the years to come. At the time of my kidney stone, I had low hemoglobin ( 7.0); it had been well below normal for over a year due to chronic bleeding. Thankfully, that bleeding issue has now finally been corrected. But I am curious if perhaps my kidney stone episode a year ago was a side effect of my chronic bleeding and low hemoglobin.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is advise.
Kidney stones form when the urine has high concentrations of calcium, uric acid, and oxalate and nothing related to low hemoglobin levels.
Some factors that cause kidney stones are:
Obesity
Heredity
Diet
Ethnicity (Caucasians and Asians are more vulnerable)
Hyperuricemia
Pregnancy
Age
Calcium supplements
Digestive diseases
