Do Medications Taken After A Spinal Surgery Cause Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?
I am having a menses x 2 weeks following spinal surgery on 5/9/2018. The period was a few days late and started on 5/27, with a few days of flow and primarily spotting red and brown and infrequent mild cramping. I wore a panty liner. However, today around 2:30, I woke from a nap with blood running down my leg. I filled the toilet. I went to the ER and they referred me to my GYN. I am wondering if the medications could have thinned my blood. I see very tiny clots when I wipe.
