Do Muscle Relaxers For Slipped Disc Cause Delayed Periods?

Can slipped discs delay period? My back went out on me 3 weeks ago, it was bad. Had a Dr s appt 2 days ago and I ve been put on muscle relaxers since my lumbar is still tight. Today I am 5 days late with no symptoms of pregnancy ,and 4 negative hpts. Could the intense jolt of pain in my back throw my cycle off? The times I have been pregnant (3) I ve always had symptoms right away.
