Do Nicotine Patches And Gums Cause Issues During Cessation Of Smoking?
Hi I m currently on Step 2 nicotine patches and 2 milligram gum I am experiencing eating for the first time in my life I am wondering if the patches could be the cause because of the constant nicotine compared to smoking when it was up and down I have never had a problem before
Increased hunger, excess eating (more than usual) and even weight gain are commonly associated while quitting smoking. These symptoms will eventually subside in a few weeks. You can continue using Nicotine gums to help with these withdrawal symptoms. Please be reassured that nicotine gums is not causing the symptoms, but rather a withdrawal from quitting smoking.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
