Do Nosebleeds, Mouth Ulcers And Random Bruises On The Body Indicative Of Leukaemia?

Do I have leukemia? I ve been really scared because for the past 2 months, these symptoms have been present. - Nosebleeds (I had 2 random nosebleeds) -Pain in spleen area (Its very minor, it hasn t gotten worse, and doesn t occur too often) -Blood in stool (happened twice, I think this might be due to a minor ulcer, but could also be leukemia) -Bone and joint pain (very minor, doesn t occur too often, happens on knee joint, sometimes on leg bone, and arm bone) -Petechiae (not a lot, some come out of nowhere but fade the next day, minor) -mouth ulcers (2 random mouth ulcers, minor) -Bruises (I found 2 random bruises, one on arm, one on leg, I don t remember where they came from, minor) What really concerns me is the spleen pain. Yeah its very minor, and it doesn t occur too often and only lasts like 10 seconds, but still, with all these other symptoms plus the spleen pain, I m really scared it might be leukemia

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it may be caused by certain psychosomatic issues and in this case, this is not dangerous and there is no need to be concerned. However, some organic issues should be ruled out such as hypertension, nose polyps, sinusitis- So she should see an ENT doctor for further evaluation. Also deviated septum may be present in some cases and it should be properly treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
