Do Pituitary Adenoma And Addison S Affect Menstrual Cycles?

I used to have extremely by the clock menstual cycles, until abour 3 months ago they stopped. When they kind of restarted this month it has not been much and it is very dark brown old blood. There is no possible way I am pregnant. I am 39 years old, so I can t be hitting menopause. I also have a pituitary addenoma and Addisons. Do you know what could possible be going on?

Hi,

Pituitary adenoma and Addison's both can affect the menstrual cycle so should be worked up properly. I suggest taking fresh hormonal profile and consulting an endocrinologist. Treating both and hormones replacement or steroids may be needed accordingly.
