General & Family Physician, Dr. Taimoor's Response
Hi and welcome to HCM. I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns. I have read your question and understand your concern.
High protein diet may initially results in the symptoms you narrated but the overall weight loosing depends on a number of factors like the following. 1. you have to burn more then you get. 2. The sources of food rich in carbohydrates like bread, rice should be avoided. 3. Proteins can be taken as much as you want to like grilled chicken etc. 4. Initiation of loosing weight depends more on dietary restrictions while maintaining it depends on exercise . 5. Calculated Aerobic exercise should be done on regular basis.
I hope this might be of some help, if you have any query feel free to ask me any time. Thanks. Dr. Taimur
