Do Recurring Indigestion, Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea Suggest Gallbladder Issues?
I have had very bad indigestion since about 5ish I took a Zantac and that didn t help so I took a pepcid it worked for about an hour the indigestion is back but not quite as bad but making me nauseous and as of the last two hours I have had very painful lower abdominal pain followed by diarrhea this has happened about 5 times. I think it is my gallbladder but I don t know if I should wait until tomorrow to go see my doctor if I can get in or go to the er?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Gall Stone disease is not known to cause diarrhea and lower abdominal pain. It can cause indigestion and pain is localised in the upper quadrant on the right side of the abdomen. However, your symptoms need evaluation. Kindly get the foll investigations done. 1. Ultrasound scan of abdomen. 2. Stool examination. Kindly consult Surgeon with the reports for appropriate management. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
