Do Seizures Increase In Benign Occipital Epilepsy?
Hi, My daughter has Benign Occipital Epilepsy diagnosed in mid 2103. She had three large seizures during 2012 and early 2013. Since that time the symptoms have gradually decreased and the doctors agreed she didn t require medication. The last 10 days have seen a sudden increase of seizures, one or more per day and she is complaining of pain in her neck. We are waiting to see the specialist again. Is it common for seizures to increase in this type of Epilepsy?
HI Well come to HCM There should not be any confusion between seizure and epilepsy these are same (Synonyms) if this would be grand mal seizure then medicine should be continued for long duration, or in either case if seizure is there with on and often history still then medicine need to be given, hope this information helps.
