Do Slurred Speech And Fatigue In Jaw Muscles While Eating Suggest ALS?

My husband believes he has ALS. His mother died in 2001 of ALS. Recently, he experienced slurred soeech and jaw muscle fatigue when eating. Was admitted to the Hoyas a possible stroke victim. MRI and CT salon done. All came back good. He shared his moms history and doctors did not seemed concerned. Followed up with neurologist and GP. No explanation. He has still experienced symptoms on and off and is convinced it is ALS.

Hello,

Taking count that the MRI and CT scan come out normal together with neurological examination them there is no risk of having ALS. The symptoms may be related to fatigue. Keep him under observations.
