General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
Its called Bell's palsy. Its the partial paralysis actually of the facial nerve which results in slurring of speech and difficulty in swallowing. Its more likely an upper motor neuron lesion. I would suggest you to go for a checkup and you'll either be provided with medications or some exercises. It would be alright in 3 to 4 weeks.
God bless you

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
