I have suspected psoriosis on my scalp and rash over my torso and my upper thighs but the leg patches are large, red, raised and very itchy everywhere. I've been using a cortisone cream once or twice a day and Sorbolene cream to try and keep my skin itchy. Forunately none of my rashes or patches are as severe as I've seen others get, but the itch is diabolical and as we've had extremely hot weather in our summer, the itch is worse. Are there foods that are supportive of rashes?
If there is any food causing rashes, then, it we can say you are dealing with food allergy. In this case, it is advised to do allergy testing and intolerance tests too.
If psoriasis is confirmed by dermatologist, then, should start oral therapy rather than applying cortisone cream only.
In additional, fungal infection of the skin should also be ruled out. Please try to keep your body well cleaned and dried as fungus are more prone to grow in dirty-moistened places.
Hope it helped! Dr.Albana
