Do Stem Cell Injections Help In The Growth Of New Knee Cartilage?

I am considering stem cell injections from a donor, frozen stem cells. I am trying to prevent a knee replacement and grow new cartlidge. Does donor work better than my own? I am 67 years old. I am also considering having stem injections in the SI joint. Should I do this? What would be my risk? Would I get better quickly?

Hello sir/madam,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your query in detail.

usually Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can naturally transform into many tissues including bone, cartilage, and fibrous tissue.
there’s much better evidence that bone marrow MSCs can help regenerate cartilage than fat MSCs. So if you had to choose a stem cell source for the purpose of regenerating cartilage, bone marrow would be your best choice.please make sure about that.

donor stem cells would definitely work better than your own . This is also can be done for sacro iliac joint as there is nothing to worry about complications and get better soon

Please check with your physician if he shares my view
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
