after a patient had a stroke he was put on the vent. he was able move his left side. He then had cardiac arrest he is not moving at all. He now opens his eyes and he goes back to sleep. if you touch his face he responds. He bats his eyes and fround. He now cry. Is it possible for him to regain the strength that he had on his left side.

So,the patient needs MRI T2 Weighted to assess the double insult of the stroke and the cardiac arrest.
Then the patient should do some investigations to assess the general health such as Liver and Kidney function tests, fasting blood glucose, CBC, EEG, ECG.
Echo on the heart,Lipid profile and measuring blood pressure. The brain insult can give us the outlook of this case.
