I know the proper technique for backboarding a patient when on scene of the incident, but once the patient is in the hospital, is the process the same? do the healthcare providers keep the patient on the backboard while transferred to the hospital bed?

hi the hospial beds are having the hard surface beds on which mattress is placed ,which provide firm support with hard surface beneath. i hope your querry is answered.
