Do These X-ray Results Necessitate Further Treatment?

I had a x ray yesterday due to ankle pain and the xray results were I had a small calcific density at the tip of the medical malleolus which represent sequela avulsion fracture injury. Do I need to worry about anything. It was a large inferior calcaneal spur. And a small retrocalcaneal enthesophyte found.

Hi.
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com.
I have gone through your X-ray results.
Your X-ray shows you have a calcaneal spur which nothing but is a calcium depositiom under the heel bone because constant wear and tear.
You don't need to worry because it's not a cancerous condition and there is effective treatment available.
Calcaneal spur often cause no symptoms and in such cases no treatment is required. In some cases it causes chronic pain and such patients require treatment which include stretching eexercises, analgesics etc.If medical management fails rarely require simple surgical measure.
There is no need to worry regarding this.consult a orthopedician if you have a chronic pain and he may guide you accordingly.
Wishing you good health.
